How do I make a gift via my Donor Advised Fund?
1) Log in to your DAF portal.
2) Search for our legal name (San Domenico School) and EIN (94-6080077).
3) Specify “SD Fund (current-year use)” or another designation in the notes.
4) Submit! Your sponsor sends the grant directly to us.

How does SD recognize DAF giving?
DAF sponsors issue your tax receipt when you fund the DAF. When you recommend a grant to San Domenico, we’ll acknowledge your generosity and intended purpose, but we do not issue a new charitable tax receipt. We’re happy to publicly recognize you for DAF support, and if your employer matches DAF grants, we’ll coordinate the paperwork. Note that per IRS rules, DAF grants cannot be used to purchase tickets, tables, or goods/services.

How do I make a gift via transfer of stocks/securities?
You don’t sell the shares. SD accepts them in kind via a simple DTC electronic transfer. Your broker initiates it, our custodian receives it, and SD sells the securities upon receipt and puts the proceeds to work for students. Most transfers are completed in 2–5 business days for publicly traded stock/ETFs.
1) Notify SD. Email [email protected] the ticker, number of shares, and your contact information so we can identify your transfer and credit your gift promptly.
2) Ask your broker to transfer shares using the following instructions:
